Whether you are an undergraduate or advanced-degree student, our one-year internship and student program provide experiences, relationships, learning and development opportunities to help build your career. How can what you learn transform who you become? As a consumer-serving intern, you'll gain exposure to our agency, our Consumers as well as a culturally-centered therapeutic approach to treatment utilizing evidence-based practices.
The Counseling/Out Patient Therapy Intern will gain practical work experience in counseling, behavioral health, addictions, and social human services. As an intern you also acquire practical experience through projects, clinical shadowing, special assignments, policies and best practices in the prevention and treatment of behavioral health disorders within in an urban, community-based wellness agency. Throughout your internship, you’ll receive regular feedback, guidance and coaching via weekly supervision from our professionals to help you develop the skills you need to become an effective and compassionate Behavioral Health Professional.
